Performs a variety of supply chain duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, include analyzing the purchasing, forecasting, transportation, and inventory management functions.


  • Create and maintain master data for procured items in SAP
  • Ensures production schedules for 3rd party suppliers and internally are adhered to.
  • Manage the purchasing processes with 3rd party suppliers. Including verifying purchase orders and submitting to suppliers.
  • Negotiates schedule, turnaround time and other terms with vendors.
  • Support on urgent/shortage purchases; create and release purchase order, monitor shipment schedule, etc.
  • Administer pricing changes/updates in SAP as needed
  • Provide weekly reports on order schedules and updates.
  • Verify invoices for accuracy.
  • Responsible for updating existing purchasing/accounting reports and developing new ones as assigned
  • Provide Problem solving on any delivery issues of purchased materials and bilingually communicate across our divisions to insure collaboration.
  • Prepare customer communication and/or confirmation letters, as well as, notify all impacted parties of approved status ( eg.- Sales Manager, Accounting, Accounts Receivable, and Customer Support)
  • Support past products with historical knowledge, database maintenance, etc.
  • Distribute samples to sales and sales support team members
  • Recommends and implements process improvements.


  • Bilingual English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) is a must
  • Can communicate with different level of people
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to use computer software Excel/Access/PowerPoint/datamining/reporting tools preferred
  • Independent to handle problem solving


Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, and 2 years of working experience; or any combination of experience and education that provides the necessary skills, knowledge and ability to perform assigned tasks. 


This position currently does require direct report management.


Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, freight forwarders and overseas colleagues and communicate well with others in a team environment.



While this job has recurring work situations with occasional variations from the norm, duties involve a moderate degree of complexity due to the nature of the work of a Supply Chain Analyst.  Duties are performed under general direction; reporting directly to the manager,  using a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures along with established guidelines. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.  A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected and the use of discretion is required. On a regular and continuous basis, exercises sound business judgment and assume responsibility for decisions, consequences and results having an impact on people, costs, and /or quality of service within the functional area. Errors in judgment, time management and level of professionalism effect the smooth and efficient operation of the supply chain management as well as the reputation of the department ultimately impacting management, customer and staff trust levels.


Duties are primarily performed in an office environment while sitting at a desk or computer terminal.  Travel to customers required 10% by air to location out of the area and by car in the local area.  Ability to work with tight time lines in an ever changing environment and moderate to extensive overtime may be required.


Mental activities required by jobs in this series include constant decision making, discretion, problem analysis and resolution, independent judgment and independent action.  There is frequent use of interpersonal skills, teamwork, creativity, customer service skills, negotiation, presentation/selling, training/supervising.  Must read, speak, write and understand the English language.  Physical activities frequently required include standing or sitting, walking, talking, hearing, repetitive motions of hands and wrists, grasping, and handling.  Depending on the department area, occasional pushing, pulling lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds are required.
