POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting directly to the National Accounts Manager, the Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing, interpreting and reporting on performance of all VTech and LeapFrog branded products for Walmart. The Business Analyst will also be responsible for making recommendations and provide insights to the Walmart Team and VTech Senior Leadership.

 SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create reporting dashboards and custom reports analyzing business results, including trend analysis, providing actionable recommendations and solutions to deliver continuous improvements.
  • Support the National Account Manager and Sr. Director of Sales with analytics requests and reporting for all Walmart accounts.
  • Recommend action plans based on analysis to leverage Walmart business growth.
  • Effectively present findings to internal leadership team and the Walmart team.
  • Research competitive activity through data analytics, instore visits and other competitive resources (NDP) to develop strategic recommendations for implementation.
  • Drive process improvement and provide new ideas throughout department and company.
  • Evaluate promotional results.
  • Prepare clear and concise business reviews to help National Accounts Manager and Sr. Director of Sales deliver executable insights to Walmart and VTech Leadership team.
  • Provide brand and product performance metrics to prioritize product recommendations in the modular planning process.
  • Responsible for implementing and tracking the Walmart quote process.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries from Bentonville office.
  • Assist National Account Manager in general office management. 

SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS

  • Must have in depth Retail Link knowledge and experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expert analytical skills.
  • Ability to work successfully with remote teams.
  • Work independently and manage time efficiently in order to meet changing deadlines and priorities.
  • Proven track record in establishing strong cross functional relationships, internal and external.
  • Demand Planning and Forecasting is a plus.
  • Can demonstrate advanced skills in MS Office Excel & PowerPoint programs.
  • Ability to learn new data systems and utilize them to analyze the business. 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree and 4 or more years of progressively responsible experience in the area of Sales Analytics for Walmar; or any combination of experience and education that provides the necessary skills, knowledge and ability to perform assigned tasks.  Masters degree is desirable.
