The Order Management Analyst is responsible for all order processing for specific accounts in a timely accurate fashion. They will oversee the successful execution of monthly and annual sales plans and for achieving customer service metrics including fill rate and on time delivery. In addition the Order Management Analyst is responsible for identifying opportunities to better support customer requirements and for eliminating road blocks to achieving the sales plan. This person will be jointly accountable with a forecast analyst for the end to end operational execution for their assigned accounts.




  • Have a complete understanding of the assigned accounts sales objectives, order processes, and sales program compliance requirements. Know the mod set timelines, promotional schedule, and inventory positions in order to gain a clear expectation of what the proper order requirements should be.
  • Process EDI and manual orders, confirming correct pricing and inventory availability and comparing orders to the forecast. Release orders to the warehouse in a timely manner and follow up with warehouse to ensure orders are ship on time.
  • Ensure all promo / special orders are identified in advance and new item set up is complete to ensure on time delivery. Coordinate with customer replenishment team to confirm PO receipt at the appropriate lead time for both domestic and import orders.
  • Maintain accurate order request dates for both import and domestic orders and review all order date changes. Review all cancellations to understand the root cause, whether it be due to the customer request or due to supply limitations leading to potential lost sales
  • Track month to date shipments vs. the forecast and identify items over/under performing to expectations. Review exceptions with sales reps and forecast analyst to identify appropriate corrective actions and communicate potential mid-month supply adjustments.       Communicate any risks to achieving the forecast.
  • Collaborate with field reps and forecast analyst to understand the in stock positions and inventory levels on an item by item basis at the retailer.       Make recommendations to adjust replenishment settings to help drive the correct order amounts.
  • Support sales with ad hoc requests and participate in weekly and monthly business management meetings, presenting analysis, calling out issues, and identifying action items





Degree in Business Management, Finance, Logistics/Supply Chain or a related field, and 2 years of progressively responsible experience in the areas of Sales Support and Analytics; or any combination of experience and education that provides the necessary skills, knowledge and ability to perform assigned tasks.

  • Must demonstrate continual ability to collaborate and communicate both orally and in writing to all levels of the organization.
  • Must be detail oriented and possess superior organizational, self-motivation and problem solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required. Strong Excel skills needed.
  • Knowledgeable in CRM systems & Experience in Supply Chain highly desirable.
  • An understanding of "big box retail" (such as Toys R Us) sales transactions is a bonus.
  • Experience with Oracle a plus.
