The Sr. Integrated Digital Manager will have a proven track record developing Marketing and Merchandising implementation plans to deliver excellent digital user experiences for prospective and current customers inclusive of the strategic development of an overall branded digital ecosystem.


This is a highly collaborative role that adds value to the business through the development and management of a comprehensive and high impact integrated digital marketing and merchandising plan, calendar, and strategic marketing planning process. They will work with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive strategies, and implementation plans for vtechkids.com, leapfrog.com, App Center, email and social.


Ultimately, they will be responsible for directing executional resources to bring the marketing plans for digital marketing/merchandising channels to life, leveraging digital design, analytics and user experience best practices.



  • Develop all marketing/merchandising strategic efforts for sites and email. Specifically, the integrated planning, calendarization and testing of year-round campaigns, connecting overall business priorities to merchandising efforts to drive consumer engagement with the brands.
  • Develop a cross-brand web property strategy as a part of a broader digital ecosystem to establish maximum penetration against target audience and linking credit with actionable KPIs and optimization plans. Additionally, create a cross-brand SEM/SEO strategy for executional team implementation.
  • Provide promotional inputs and messaging direction to social team for extensions into the social space.
  • Create all creative briefs for digital projects applying learning and implications from prior campaigns and see through to completion. Evaluate final creative concepts while providing clear and constructive feedback to deliver effective end creative.
  • Manage web and email executional team outputs, delivering on outlined plans.
  • Plan and populate home page, App Center and email calendars in support of marketing priorities and promotions. Additionally recommend frequent multi-variant testing dependent upon channel. (A/B testing of subject lines, click thru, time of send, & content. Creative versions, messaging, etc)
  • Strategize incremental App Center promotions based on key learnings from highest performing sales to help drive revenue goals.
  • Partner with Licensing and Product Marketing Managers to calendarize app releases and incorporate new releases into digital marketing support plan.
  • Establish and grow relationships with sales and retail teams to develop processes for inputs and updates
  • Partner with Digital Media Manager and sales leads on retailer promotions inclusion in digital marketing channels to maximize impact of promotions and drive traffic to retailer sites via paid and organic advertising.
  • Create a master calendar for all marketing/merchandising implementations exporting key information and dates to marketing, sales team stakeholders and non US locale partners.
  • Partner with copy and social teams to ideate content marketing strategies focused on creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and retain our target audience and ultimately drive sales.
  • Recommend tagging strategies for all web properties as needed to maximize campaign data inputs and work with external partners to apply tagging to site pages or generate reports to measure the effectiveness of digital campaigns.
  • Partner with media agency to determine a scheduled reporting cadence that includes a leadership dashboard for share out when appropriate.
  • Process campaign data or agency reports to deliver analyses that report on the attainment of various campaign KPIs, adjusting scope of detail for the report objective and audience. Interpret and apply the findings from various testing initiatives to optimize and improve future plans driving to the identified KPI.
  • Merchandise wins and opportunities to key stakeholders to facilitate partnerships and uncover new opportunities for collaboration to benefit the consumer and the business.
  • Support the Director of Digital Marketing & Merchandising on all digital-related projects inclusive of paid media, site, email and content strategies in partnership.
  • Ensure legal/COPPA compliance for all digital properties and data capture plans/sites.
  • Stay current with best practices, strategies and industry standards related to digital marketing.
  • Research competitive activity to inform best practices and successful approaches to email marketing.
  • Manage multiple projects with the ability to switch from one to another seamlessly, effectively prioritizing competing priorities and deadlines. Proactively identify and implement recommendations for new tools if needed.


  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, Project Management tools like Basecamp and Smartsheets, ESPs, Google Analytics, Adobe Experience Manager and ability to learn technical systems and in-house tools quickly.
  • Strong planning and project management skills, experience coordinating cross-functional teams, delivering results and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with planning, implementing and analyzing online marketing initiatives across multiple online channels.
  • Ability to manage high-profile projects with strong project management, time management and adaptability skills.
  • Experience managing people and supporting executional priorities
  • Strong working knowledge of the retail channel and retail-specific marketing levers.
  • Understanding of user experience and user interface creative best practices.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to nurture good working relationships.
  • Exceptional communication skills while working with stakeholders at all levels in the company.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a high-pressure environment and across different time zones, demonstrating can-do attitude and flexibility with changing schedules, scopes and priorities.
  • The ability to creatively resolve issues, understanding business constraints around resources, budgets, and timelines.
  • Sense of curiosity, and desire to ask questions and "think outside the box".
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat and all relevant social media platforms.
  • High professional and ethical standards.
  • Working knowledge of landing page optimization.
  • Keep up to date with latest in the search engine and SEO industry to identify trends, new approaches, etc.
  • Gathering industry research, competitive landscape information and trade intelligence for SEO strategy development and optimization.



Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or a related field, and 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in the area of email marketing; or any combination of experience and education that provides the necessary skills, knowledge and ability to perform assigned tasks.
