The Manager, Digital Marketing at VTech is responsible for providing leadership to drive digital marketing strategies that are aligned with VTech's strategic plans and key initiatives across all learning brands in the North American market. The position will work with Sales, Product Management and other marketing team members to lead the strategic development and delivery of digital communications and digital commerce across multiple channels. This includes vtechkids.com, leapfrog.com, and the App Center websites, digital advertising, SEM/SEO, LeapFrog Academy and paid retailer programs. The Manager, Digital Marketing will consider strategic goals and collaborate with key stakeholders and cross-functional team members to ensure deliverables meet overall business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all marketing efforts for vtechkids.com, leapfrog.com and any additional web properties requested (i.e. microsites). Specifically, the calendarization, testing and implementation of year-round campaigns, connecting overall business priorities to merchandising efforts to drive consumer engagement with the brands.
  • Work closely with marketing leadership to ensure optimal overall brand positioning, architecture and visual identity to ensure campaigns are executed consistently in the voice of each brand/product line.
  • Use a variety of digital tools (SEO, SEM, E-Mail Marketing, Video, Display, Retargeting, Affiliates) and programs to engage with target consumers to drive business objectives.
  • Create a master calendar for all site implementations exporting key information and dates to marketing and sales team stakeholders.
  • Partner with Digital Media Manager to coordinate with trade marketing offers and drive traffic to retailer sites. Develop, execute and optimize site experiences and campaigns as a key traffic generator for retail partners to contribute to the achievement of retail.com ecommerce goals.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to manage online campaign process, workflow improvements and optimization of existing and new tools, such as the Content Management System (CMS).
  • Partner with technical resources to ensure responsive functionality across all browser types and drive to continual improvement through thorough QA.
  • Project Manage the creative development of all web assets, managing the workflow of the digital designers and sourcing copywriting and video resources from the Creative Development Team. This includes requesting or writing creative briefs, evaluating creative concepts and providing clear and constructive feedback to deliver effective creative.
  • Manage multiple projects with the ability to switch from one to another seamlessly, effectively prioritizing competing priorities and deadlines. Proactively identify and implement recommendations for new tools if needed.
  • Keep up to date on latest trends in the digital space, competitive and emerging digital media opportunities.
  • Partner with Email Manager to coordinate email support on planned campaigns and/or promotions

SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS

  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all levels of the organization, customers, employees, contractors and vendors
  • Expert-level organizational skills and the ability to focus on important details
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and adjust to changes in schedules and assignments seamlessly within a fast paced setting
  • Analytic and quantitative skills, specifically digital marketing metrics are a must
  • Financially savvy and skilled in reporting on all KPIs, marketing performance, user behavior, shopping flows, etc.
  • High professional and ethical standards
  • Persuasive, fact-based, and articulate with superlative collaboration skills
  • Experience with executing a full digital campaigns, from initial briefing to launch
  • Experience in fostering an environment of accountability and creativity
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing Communications or a related field
  • 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in the area of digital marketing management, including management of a team. Prior experience working with an outside agency is a plus
